# Treatment with Damon System braces.

> Self-ligating fixed braces. The bracket holds the wire with a sliding mechanism rather than an elastic tie, so there are no elastic modules to replace at each visit.

## Stages

### 1. A free consultation and a 3D scan

Your first visit is a 3D scan and digital imaging, taken in-house. The consultation costs nothing and there is no obligation to start. This is where the honest answer about what your case needs comes from — a scan, not a website.

*One visit*

### 2. The plan comes before the appliance

Dr. Nael builds the movement plan from your scan and digital imaging, supported by AI-assisted analysis. You see what the treatment is intended to achieve before anything is bonded to your teeth.

### 3. Fitting the brackets

Brackets are bonded to the teeth and connected by an archwire. In the Damon System the bracket holds that wire with a sliding mechanism of its own, so there are no elastic ties to replace at each appointment.

*About one hour*

### 4. Adjustments through treatment

You return once a month for an adjustment, and Dr. Nael reviews progress against the original plan at each visit. Diagnosis, planning and review are his own work throughout. How long the whole course takes depends on your case — it is part of the plan you see before you start, not a number we can quote from a website.

*Monthly adjustments*

### 5. Retention afterwards

Once the brackets come off you move into a retainer, which holds the result and is included in the treatment price. It is either a removable clear retainer worn at night or a permanent bonded one fitted behind the teeth, decided case by case.
