Dr. Nael Abou Hassan has practised orthodontics for over twenty-six years. He founded Bissan Medical Centre in Sharjah and continues to lead its orthodontic department, where he treats adult and adolescent cases with clear aligners and fixed appliances.

His clinical interest is the cases that are not straightforward — crowding severe enough that other clinics recommend extraction, bites that don't meet, jaw relationships that need correcting rather than disguising, and cases that require coordination with oral surgery.

## How he works

Dr. Nael treats orthodontics as a planning problem before it is a mechanical one. Every case begins with in-house digital imaging and a 3D scan. From that, he builds the movement plan and a simulation of the finished result, which the patient sees and approves before any appliance is manufactured.

That plan is supported by AI-assisted analysis of the scan data, which sharpens the diagnosis and makes each stage of movement more predictable. It also means a patient is not asked to commit to a year of treatment on the strength of a verbal description.

Dr. Nael reviews progress against the original simulation throughout treatment, and adjusts the plan when a case moves differently than modelled — which, in a real mouth, cases sometimes do.

## Everything in one building

Dr. Nael practises at Bissan Medical Centre in Al Majaz, Sharjah, where digital X-ray imaging, 3D scanning and clinical treatment are all in-house. Diagnosis does not wait on a referral appointment, and the plan is adjusted by the same person who built it.

Saturday to Thursday, 12:00–21:00. Dr. Nael does not hold Friday clinics.
